thanks Sab.... I should have also mentioned that I broke the HELL out of that cd case...

I would like those CD's back... we gotta show people what Joel wrote on my Pedestrian cd lol.

Okay, this is my official thank-you post since I didn't want to clog up the boards with yet another new post about Edgefest XD

Thank you to:

Matt - for tickling me to death and then stealing my pillows.
Nikki - for being fucking awesome and helping me make a scene at the meet and greet
Nam - for waking me up at 10 in the morning with a "Hello? Who is this? What do you want?!"
Kruno - for introducing me to Jer and Stever, and all the hugs
Miro - for telling me it's true that I'm a human space heater :lol:

Kathy - for introducing me to everyone I didn't know and helping me have the time of my life
Christine - for putting that all together and for introducing me to Duncan
Debbie - for giving me the wristband that got me into the meet and greet
Dommie - for holding onto my signed Pedestrian CD so it wouldn't get crushed in my pocket
Sab - for getting me into the Chris Koster show and holding onto my Pedestrian poster so it wouldn't get wet
Lindsay - for being so goddamn entertaining when drunk AND when sober
Rich and Shelley - for all the awesomeness over the weekend - I'm glad I finally got to meet the creators of .cc, because you guys are fucking awesome
Tom - for the directions back to the States :lol:

Even though it took us 4 hours to get out of Canadia!
Nikki's mom - for holding onto my purse while I partied with everyone at the Rivoli
Kristina - for hanging out with me and being so cool to listen to NWL with

You guys gave me the best weekend of my life. I am so happy I got to go, and I am so grateful for all you did to help me meet the band and make my dream come true. You are honestly some of the greatest, most amusing, most hilarious people I've ever had the luck to meet.

Good lord I love you guys!!!

I had a great time from start to finish. The whole weekend was a lot of fun, and I'm glad I got to make so many new friends. Joel was a great to us all weekend. My recordings from the Rivoli will probably be the best work I've done on a concert. My recordings from Edgefest are sketchy. The Pedestrian recording is really high on bass because I was in front of the stage right speaker. Most everyone missed out on me getting busted filming during OLP's set. I almost had a heart attack when security tapped me on the shoulder and said "You need to come with me." Luckily I only had to turn over the mini dv tape and not my camera. It sucked but that's the risk I take trying to film. But it was cool when Raine got to use my gear during Kiss on the Mouth. Unfortunately Sandy and everyone got so excited trying to get my stuff to the front of the stage that the mic cable came slightly loose and thus recorded 4 minutes of silence. Joel was cracking up when he saw me at the front of the crowd handing my gear over. Duncan just shook his head and laughed. The other musical highlight for me was NWL covering I'm Afraid of Americans.

I'm really tired right now but I want everyone to know what a great weekend I had and thanks to all of you for making it so fun. Lots of multimedia goodies to come soon.

I introduced myself to Christine at the meet and greet... I also met deborah and (OMG, I'm sorry) another girl that I can't remember her name (had a "Peace on Earth t-shirt on) . It was by COMPLETE fluke that I found Christine after the show and asked her if there was anything else going on that night.

Honest to god, my brain was so out of it, I couldn't get my name out when I was meeting the guys.

"Hi, I'm Steve"
"Hi, I'm Nic, Nico, Nikki, Nikki... yeah, nikki, there are two of us, I'm the second one."

^^that's seriously how it went.

If the video footage of that meet and greet actually ever gets put up on OLP.net, I will be SO embarassed. lol
