Wow. Bike-vision is trippy.

So does bonus songs on .net make anyone a little less angry at them?
-Sarah

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

Well at least they're trying. However, it does make them seem a little desperate for respect:

hahahahahaha, no

this video clip is free (and, though mildly entertaining, rather pointless). giving something small to everyone (paying or not) doesn't help the paying members who are getting screwed.

I especially like the spoken-word part where Duncan talks about downtown toronto.

Correct that is.

While I'm glad Duncan shared the video, it doesn't make me like .net any better. First because it is available to everyone, not a benefit of membership. Which is nice but doesn't make me any happier that I gave them $35. Second because on the tail end of the Stace-run .net, we probably could've gotten her to share an uncompressed 1.5GB version of the video on the hub, which would've included uncompressed better sounded pcm audio.

i havent listened to this song yet.. but will later... this has got to be a historical moment, though, that an OLP "fan" labelled the song that will probably stick with the mp3 file until the end of time... especially a title called "like a whore"

And apparently it's from an album titled:

":Z:E VAMPIRES :E:E: P"

And I'm a fan without quotes! Just not a fan of .net. At all. :D

It does sound vaguely like vampires. But then again, so did "World On A String", vaguely. It seems to me that OLP decided that they weren't going to use "Vampires" on an album so they broke the cool things about the song up into little pieces and spread it around into a bunch of other songs.

As for the song, it definitely is a jump from "Where Are You". The lyrics are actually fairly decent.

I remember a long time ago when I saw OLP live.

During the soundcheck Raine sang some crazy shit.

Then they all switched instruments and rocked out.

Then I regretted not having a recorder. Especially a video one.

Then I *streaked across the CM for the 7th time and place*

I don't think it's Vampires... from what Duncan said, they are still gonna release that song on a greatest hits compilation thing.

so I guess we'll see.

what do I think of this song? When we hear a better quality version, I'll let you know.

Well, from what I've heard, the song isn't that special. Perhaps my opinion will change when and if we get a better quality version of it, but I doubt it.
