Free OLPness

Post by Soozy »

*everything has now been taken*

I'm clearing out my OLPness and just keeping a few things, so I have lots needing a new home, and I know CMers will provide good homes.

I'll send stuff out for free, but I'd like anyone who gets something to make a donation to a reputable cancer charity of your choice (if you're struggling to choose, these are all good: <a href="http://www.cancerresearch.org.uk" target="_blank"> Cancer Research UK </a>, <a href="http://www.cancer.org" target="_blank"> American Cancer Society </a>, <a href="http://www.cancer.ca" target="_blank"> Canadian Cancer Society </a>) Due to the number of things and the weight I'll probably send the bigger things surface mail, so you won't get them for a while.

I'm going to list the major things I have and it's first come first served - one thing per person. Stake your claim in this thread and PM me your address if I don't already have it.

Once things have been bagged by people, I'll add a note in here as soon as I can. Anything in italics is gone.

I have the following things (photos and links may follow later):

1) OMA blue vinyl - Sand
2) Signed Jeremy drumstick that he used at the show in Manchester in November 2002. - Tom (Locobone)
3) OLP bottle opener. (Russian star logo - has been used!) - Mike (think_about_it)
4) OMA limited edition UK CD single - Sonya
5) Life Australian CD single - Hope Jen
6) Innocent German CD single (includes Imagine live as a b-side) - Olp_waited (Nina???)
7) Innocent German CD single (exactly the same as 6 - I have 2) - Afe Jen
8) Live EP - Naveed/Whatever/Starseed/4am - Amanda
9) Guitar picks - yellow Steve pick as used at ULU in September 2002, black Steve pick given to me in Manchester in 2003, orange Raine pick provenance unknown. - Christine
10) HIPT promo stuff - photo signed by Steve and press release document thing. - Hannah
11) Happiness promo photo - naveed99
12) Trade poster/ads - OMA and SOT (small - magazine page sized) - random name Sarah.
13) Rock Sound seminar poster from March 2003. - Lando
14) OMA t-shirt - size medium. It's black and on the front is the OMA logo thing. Back has a photo of a gun and the words "the shotgun under your bed has started breathing" - Kaegan
15) FOTTP tour t-shirt - size small. Black. Band photo on the front. tour dates on the back. - Dom
16) Rich and Shelley's first video compilation set. - faninor Josh
17) Various magazines - Chart with Raine on the cover, Chart with naked Duncan on the cover, Extreme Magazine with OLP on the cover from winter/spring 2000, Profile magazine with OLP on the cover (Feb/March 2001), Rock Sound magazine from November 2002 with an OLP interview inside and Not Enough on the free CD that come with it. - Kathy

I also have the following items which arne't worth sending out on their own, but I'll add to any of the above things package size permitting. If you're getting something from the list above, let me know which of these small things you'd be interested in and I'll distribute them among the packages:

Rock Sound promo CDs including Middle of Yesterday - x2 - Sand and Josh
Setlist from Birmingham show November 2002. Unfortunately Gail has written on it - date/location and scribbled on the songs that were actually played where it differed. - naveed99
Stickers - Black OLP sticker (Gravity era), UK Gravity sticker, Live CD promo sticker, Spiritual Machines sticker. SM sticker = Hannah. One Gravity sticker = Dom. One sticker for OLP_waited
OLP Badge - old school - maybe Clumsy era? - Kaegan
OLP promo CD as distributed on the Avril tour (I think I have 7 or 8 of these left)
Various random articles and cuttings from English magazines.

Any questions about anything, please ask.

Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

okies, I'm going to edit my post once things are gone, so people don't get their hopes up and then find someone's already taken what they want.

Every now and then I fall out into open air just to feel the wind, rain and everything.
And though the hum and sway gets me down
, I'll find the way to peace and openness.
