today was nice because...

1. i convinced my mom to let me get the march issue of Chart (now i only have to convince her to let me get a subscription)! and who happened to be on the cover?

:O

2. i got cushy headphones! so i can finally listen to music out of more than one ear again.

(never get the RCA headphones pictured below, kids. i got a pair and then it broke in one ear. so i replaced them, and they broke again, in the same ear. and the interchangeable colour-caps idea is lame.)

3. i was playing piano today, and out of boredom, i jazzified a short passage of Chopin's Waltz in E Minor op. posth. it sounds awesome and i want to record them side by side.

twnb it started out horribly, and got so much better.

i've been very sick for the longest time, and just yesterday it's been crashing down on me. what made it SO awesome was that my old English/Literature teacher emailed me, congratulating me on my scholarship, grades, and merely "just wanted to say hi, i hope everything is well, and i hope everything will be so much better for you in the future."

that came from the best, and sweetest teacher i've ever had.

twnb i got extra chicken on my burger because he had 1 chicken breast left and didnt want to cook another one :lol:

and i had a yummy breakfast,

and i get a slice of apple pie for letting someone use my meal card to buy apples!
