They were offered $5 million to play Coachella, and I was reading this morning that Johnny Marr said somewhere that they'd been offered $10 million to play some shows in London, NY and somewhere else.

But they said now

Morrissey better play lots of Smiths songs when I see him.

Oh, I had a thought about this Canadian tour boycott thing. He probably realises that he'll get a lot more publicity worldwide by boycotting them than he would if he played there but tried to educate people about it - cos that really wouldn't make the news.
