The security supervisor there was such a sweetie. He came to check up on us in the queue and gave one girl a jacket from lost property cos she was cold. Then he kicked people out of the queue for pushing in when we told him about them. And he'd come and chat to us before OLP came on and he took Claire's camera and took photos of us being lifted over the barrier when OLP were done.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

So apparently my ranting essay on .net is gonna be passed around at ultrastar or whoever. That's a good thing, but I'm gonna get "troublemaker" tattooed all over me. eeek.

It's brutal how most of that info was not available the first time they went on sale.

So, INXS fans are getting screwed over even worse than us. It should probably make me feel better, but honestly it just makes me even more angry. Most shows price range seem to be $175.00 - US $350.00 for hot seats, but Atlantic City is US $175.00 - US $500.00 (yes, FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS). Check this crap out:

ticketmaster wrote:INXS returns to the US with more performances in select cities!

Three different Hot Seat packages are available for purchase.

The INXS Platinum Hot Seat Package includes:

- Platinum Premium seats
- Exclusive Platinum Package Merchandise
- Collectible Laminate
- Meet and Greet with select Band Members
- Autographed Item
* Meet and Greet instructions will be sent with VIP Package merchandise

INXS Gold Hot Seat Package includes:

- Gold Premium seats
- Exclusive Gold Package Merchandise
- Collectible Laminate

INXS Silver Hot Seat Package includes:

- Silver Premium seats
- Exclusive Silver Package Merchandise
* Collectible Laminate

Please note that Hot Seat tickets will be shipped separately from all the other items to the purchasers billing address and can be tracked via My Account on ticketmaster.com. The other items will be shipped to the purchaser's billing address no later than one week before the show date. Please Note: Package Offers and availability will vary by city and date.

Don't miss your chance to see INXS from great seats, performing live on stage. Get your tickets now before the shows are sold out!

Seriously. :wtf:

I think my favorite is that you're paying up to $500 and you get "Meet and Greet with select Band Members"... what the frig does "select" mean?!

You know what, I joined the REM fanclub exactly 3 weeks ago. It cost me $12. They've already sent me stuff in the post twice! First time was a newsletter and membership card and some stickers then today I got another newsletter.

"Select" probably means the guy that plays the saxaphone with the funny mustache. NOT JD Fortune. Yes I watched RockStar and know his name. He's also Canadian
