yeah.. a proposal to Aeris' theme wouldn't work for me because I always associate it with death and I generally see it as a sad song.

Plus holy crap that's nerdy.

just ask nik, she's probably the last woman any guy should marry.

Not a nice person?

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

As of right now, I've just gotten Yuffie in the forest outside of the Temple of the Ancients and I'm trying to level up Aeris a bit so she's not completely useless.

I'm hoping to get a lot of Mastered materia this time around, and I'm actually going to attempt to right Ruby and Emerald eventually. Last time, I got KotR with a gold chocobo but even with it I still got pwnt by the WEAPONs.

I was completely adicted to this game when it came out, but I have to admit, now I don't have a clue what you're talking about. Except for chocobo...that's the big chicken thing that you ride around and have races with, right?

Brutus is an honorable man
It's just coincidence that oil men will wage war in an oil rich land
And this one goes out to my man taking cover in the trenches with a gun in his hand
Then gets home and no one flinches when he can't feed his fam...

But Brutus is an honorable man...

Level Aeris up a lot. Try and get her to her level 4 Limit Break and she kicks ass. While she's by no means a fighter, she comes in real handy as a healer, which is what she's supposed to be used as. I can't remember exactly what her lvl 4 does, I do know that it's "Great Gospel" and I think it does all the curative/protective magic on all your party members.

she's got about the most abrasive personality you'll ever encounter. she's like 28 or 29, works for her daddy and doesnt have what would be defined as a "real" job ... has a degree in screenwriting which she will use (this is her logic, not mine) one day to become a successful restaurateur/chef (she cannot cook well, and no, it doesnt make sense).. she lives at my apartment for 3 days out of the week and doesnt pay a dime (despite our strong suggestion she pay us)....

... the list can really, really go on. i'd think of her differently if she were like 19 and had her personality, but she's 28/29 and a huge drama queen. it's bad and nobody in my family wants her to join the family (except my brother, of course). that's really the short of it.

to sum it up in one word: nutcase.

but anyway, staying on topic... chocobo:

Yeah, the Chocobos are the chicken things. There are a bunch of different kinds that you can get through breeding, I think it's Green, Blue, Black and then Gold. Green and Blue can go over mountains or lakes but I'm not sure which does which, Black can do both, and Gold can do everything plus cross the ocean which you need to get the Knights of the Round materia. It's in a cave on this round island that you can't land the Highwind on.

As for the WEAPONs, those are the big huge monsters that appear.. Sapphire gets shot in a FMV, you fight Diamond, Ruby and Emerald are super-hard uber-bosses that you can fight as a sidequest, Ultimate flies around and you have to beat it to get Cloud's Ultima Weapon.

I'm working towards being able to beat Ruby or Emerald but there's a lot of special materia I need and it'll probably take me a helluva long time to get it.

Emerald is a pain, I did like 90k of damage to him, so I had like 10k to go until I won, and then he 'Air Tram Support'ed me and all my people died. Ruby isn't as bad, though I've never beaten him, but you have to go into battle with 1 person dead else he'll kill one person off intantly and you can't use him the rest of the battle. A friend of mine's brother beat Emerald out of sheer luck. He used Cait Sith and did his limit break and got the one that insta kills the enemy. Lucky bugger. I suggest getting, W-Summon, Knights of the Round, Mime, and everyone's best weapon before even attempting to fight Emerald. Level 99 would also help too.

The Blue Chocobo can cross shallow water and the Green can go over mountains. Gold Chocobos are the best, except for maybe the black one in the Chocobo Races, that one's good too, he's the only real challenge in the races.

Where do you get W-Summon from? I can't remember ever coming across it in my previous plays.

That's one of the main problems I have, I can never find the right materia (though I was quite proud when I bred a golden and got KotR)

So what is W-summon? It's been a long time, and uh what's Mime? I notice you didn't mention bahumut zero, he's good to isn't he?

W-Summon means you can summon twice in a row without interuption.

Knights of the Round + W-Summon = gold

Knights of the Round +W-Summon + Mime = :jerk off:

mmhmm

@Rusty: Bahamut Zero is good too, but he only does 1 9999 damage hit, while Knights of the Round (KotR) does 13 of them. Omnislash is also great to have since it does basically the same thing. You also should get KotR to level 2 so that you can use it twice in a battle, and so you can W-Summon it.
