I think it's 50 special packages.

I'd still like to find out what they're going to do for the people who paid for memberships and haven't gotten anything worthwhile yet.

And I feel horrible about being so angry because I know Stace and whoever else is involved are trying their hardest to make this acceptable and make everyone happy... but sadly I just don't see it happening.

stace would NEED to post this: Soundcheck passes included for all tickets bought by the members during the pre-sale. That kind of gift could at least make us smile a bit. :cry:

Another issue is that I don't think OLP will do a soundcheck for the 2nd Vancouver show. Bands only tend to soundcheck for the first night of multiple shows in the same place. So I'm not sure what happens to anyone who's bought the package for that show.

Also, 50 passes = only 3.5 per show - though I expect the distribution of fans is such that some will have none and others will be packed.

That would imply there were 50 hot seat packages per show. Do we seriously expect that many people to stump up that much money?

It would certainly explain the total lack for good seats for teh fan club in Vancouver.

But weren't there originally 12 soundcheck passes per show (given to special packages)? I assume that they increased the number of soundcheck passes, rather than decreasing them...

That's what I was thinking too... it takes away from the experience to make it approx 4x as many people. To me that doesn't add value or fix our problems.

Too bad it will nearly definitely be ignored, because even the threads that staff has started in order to address questions and concerns have pretty much been ignored. :happytears:

Don't worry, I have plans to email people. If there's nothing new from "staff" on there or any improvements I'm getting on to Coalition. And that threat I made in there will probably be carried out at the weekend, though it will be more gently done than that rant!

Actually since they're not touring solo, they'll probably do another soundcheck.

Usually they'll do multiple soundchecks in the same location if they have an opening band.

Nah, when they supported Avril at Brixton Academy 3 nights running no-one did soundchecks the 2nd two days. One day Raine turned up 2 minutes before they were due on stage! Also Matt Good did two days in Calgary and had Wil supporting him and there were no soundchecks on day 2.

I think so. We were all ready for them to come on stage and lovely mr security came up to us and told us Raine wasn't there. We were kind of shocked. Then a couple of minutes later they all came out.

Raine was probably happily sleeping in his hotel bed.
