rats are ok until you're walking across campus late at night and a large one jumps out of the bushes and across your path :/

Weird! I've never seen any outside. Course, I've never really seen any outside of a pet store. Lots of miceys, but no rats.

Apparently ubc has a thriving rat population, I see raccoons more often when I walk back to my place at night. Durring the day the squirrells are EVERYWHERE, they lived in my roof once (there was a hole below a gutter somewhere) and would ring my doorbell.
