I think that not only would an online petition be a good idea, but as a second step, if that doesn't get results, for everyone to contact them (via email) in a specific timeframe, so that they're bombarded by emails from concerned fans and fanclub members.

The reason I'm so adamant about everyone voicing their opinions is because we need to be one big group to be heard. Both fanclub members and non fanclub members are equally important because everyone can see that these prices are an outrageous rip-off for every fan, especially due to the really good seats being taken with the ticket package deal.

Petition sounds like a good idea. They're useless with most things, but in this case, it'll be going to the band themselves, and I think it'll show them "hey, lots of us are pissed!" pretty well.

And we need actual full names of people when signing. Not just CM usernames or whatever. If we want to be taken seriously that is. Maybe include a location option too? so you can list your name and wherever you're from... I dunno, just a thought.

Another thing we should do is perhaps start a thread here or have the petition somewhere controlled by a CMer so that we can make sure people aren't being rediculous with the names they sign up. Being able to verify IP addresses to see if someone signed up 30 names from different locations will also help us out to eliminate fake signatures, so that we are actually taken seriously once we submit this petition.
