Well, that's not really an abuse of power. I think that's taking it a little far.

Error in judgement? sure. But it wasn't malicious.

Well, except for Nikki locking your second thread.

I'd like to agree, but in all honesty I've seen it done a little too often. I'm not saying that threads shouldn't be locked. I've seen many that were deserving of that and the decision was well justified, but I've been here just as long as any of the mods and although the decision making has changed hands several times, I understand it's impossible to keep everyone happy, but I've still seen my fair share of bad decision making time and time again.

I haven't ever had a problem with any of the moderators and other than what I've mentioned, you're all usually doing a pretty good job. The one thing I do know is that Matt isn't a fan of spam, I'm not spamming up these forums like I used to, and Matt and I don't have any bad blood between us. Other than the original situation I had with Al many a year ago when we saw things differently on a certain problem that arose with our site (which ultimately cost me my decision making power, however it was justified since I was broke and couldn't actually help Al pay for the site) that's probably the worst I've done to piss off a moderator, I mean spamming and Matt's dislike for it.

I'm just upset over this because these types of things however small and insignificant they may seem to the mods, do make this place less friendly or welcoming and that makes it a lot less enjoyable. And by these types of situations perhaps seeming insignificant to the powers that be, it shows that rash decision making or rushed decision making isn't helping things, it seems that some decisions aren't really thought about or considered justifiably, just that they're made quickly and without any regard that it's an absolutely NECESSARY course of action.

That's pretty much all I have to say. I just think that even the little things should be considered if we want to keep this place as enjoyable as it can possibly be.

i agree. *coughpokemonclubcough* i mean, i don't even really like pokemon, but it really burned me that the mods could make whatever club they wanted (read: the bsb club) but not make a club for other people just because they didn't want it.

anyway, i don't want to drag that horse around again after it's been dead for so long, just agreeing with lando here.

hmm this seems like a valid complaint. Not that I really know what got locked or the history here. I really havent been here very long yet I have heard rumblings of people feeling alienated by the powers that be, there being an 'in' group and then all the others. I am not that invested here so I am unaffected by this sentiment, but I do see how some people could feel like they aren't getting the same treatment as eveyone else.

please dont block me because I voiced an opinion

For the record I like Lando, and I think he knows my threshold for spamming up the place. Christine I'm going to ban your opinion. Ok just kidding. Narf.

I do. You're very laid back about it, you've proven it many a time when Alex, Nikki, Sand, me and who knows who else would spam through out the whole night!

I've been afraid of the mods ever since they banned Amish Mouse for being sensitive as a result of acts of terrorism near where he lives.
