I have a pair of brown running shoes, a pair of black dress shoes (for work) and a pair of winter boots.

I buy roughly a pair of shoes of each type a year, depending on when my current ones get worn/grubby looking.

white sandals

I wish I could get some cool shoes, but alas, my feet are too effin' wide. One time, I found a really nice pair of shoes that was on sale for a good price, but I couldn't get them on.
