The hard drive will still come with the system. Chances are that Sony will copy the 360s core and premium system method. It will help them sell systems quickly, especially in Japan. However, the HDD is a major strong point for the PS3, as the cell processor is reliant on it for many reasons. If sony doesn't go the core/premium bundle route, they're still going to sell the PS3 with a HDD, just not pre-installed.
I'm still waiting to buy my 360 because I own way too many games I haven't played for my PS2, Xbox and Game Cube. I'm really looking forward to The Legend Of Zelda: The Twilight Princess.
If there is some sort of bundle with Final Fantasy XI and a 360, I might buy my 360 come April!
Yeah that's what I assume. From what I gather, it would make even more sense for Sony because none of their previous games relied on the hard drive besides FFX which will allow for easier compatibility. As for the Revolution, the more I hear about it, the more I believe Nintendo will be able to pull if off. Just look at the DS. [/i]
It's all about Gears of War, and Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. Both this year. I hear they are planning on releasing a Gears of War demo soon which is exciting.
I mentioned that in my post on the previous page. I just posted this article to clarify a lot of what I was saying. I think I said October, not November for a North American release though...
