Indeed they are. Did you see one of the U.S. Men in a warm-up run the other day? Both of his skis came off in the air at the same time! That landing would have hurt like hell. The chances of both of them not being on his boots securely has to be extremely low. It seems impossible really. They were probably tampered with!

I heard it was a Canadian - Jeff Bean - that this happened to?

I saw it. It was definitely a Canadian, and that name sounds familiar so it may very well have been him.

So apparently the finals in curling is Canada vs. Finland. I don't know who I'm siding with. Canada who has a guy from here, or Finland which is like my homeland or something.

Living in antispace is confusing.

Canada and US hockey teams... both eliminated today :(

Probably a really positive thing for international hockey, but very disappointing.

Canada was playing like shit. They didn't deserve to win at all.

At least we have the women's team to be proud of.

Unfortunately I haven't heard a good explanation for that one.

Gretzy was taking a lot of heat for his choices even before they started playing... and it has gotten much worse now.

World Cup Champions
World Juniors - gold (back to back)

they dont win a major world championship every 6 months and now Canadian hockey is in trouble

For the choice of players on the team... the mix of veterans and rookies, young players who some say should have been there, and the fact that the team looked great on paper but couldn't gel and work together as a team.

It was like that here when the women won the curling gold in SLC. The game was in the middle of the night though - so many people stayed up to watch it.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.
