or when you have long hair and then you go short. but your head gets really really cold!

i use to like long hair when i was younger but now it's just annoying. i prefer shorter hair.

So, last night I went to a concert. It was half past midnight by the time I got home and my flat was cold, so I thought I'd make myself a nice hot water bottle to stop me shivering in bed and being unable to sleep. So there I was filling it with boiling water when the top of the kettle flew open and boiling water went all over my hand. Owwwwwwwwwww. I had to go to bed with a bag of ice tied to my hand and even then I woke up again when the ice melted cos it hurt again so I had to get more ice. Now my thumb and my first knuckle are all bright red and hurt a bit but I managed not to blister anywhere which is very good.

But I wanted to go dancing tonight and I'm too scared that a man will grab that hand and it'll hurt too much. Plus I seem to have hurt my knee last night standing on tiptoes. And it's cold and windy out. And I'm really tired. And the indicator on my car's broken so I have to hold on to the lever thing to stop it indicating left all the time - and the stupid garage can't look at it until Monday.

But still, it means I can stay in and watch the olympics and the first episode of the new series of the Apprentice
