I remember Raine saying in an interview that they didn't like the way the Canadian version of SD was edited so they did another one. They wanted to include more of them performing.

the Angels video moved up one more spot on the Much countdown, now at #16. I think this is the slowest climb on the chart I've ever seen!

On MuchMoreMusic it moved up 2 spots to #12.

it IS very slow... but if it gets to the top 10 (which olp stuff almost always does), then it will never stop being played on muchmusic, cuase thats how things work.

I just hope it doesn't lose momentum (and I use that word loosely) before it hits the top 10.

How does their countdown work anyway... what's it based on? I know there isn't a direct way to vote for the countdown but there are other ways to request videos. And someone told me it's calculated based on multiple factors, but I still don't know.

Looks like it will get to the top 10 on MMM long before MM.

I'm pretty sure it's based on whoever the producers want to win, because videos never go down and then up, and no video is ever higher than 20 in its first week.

If it was based on voting, it wouldn't be that predictable.

i thought about how those videos get on the countdown also... i am beginning to think whatever producers like = higher ranking. which is such bullshit because then the "hits" (ie. the overplayed stuff) is dependent on only a couple of producers!

haha, doesnt that just mean that older people like A/L/S? because the people who buy iTunes are usually aged between 28 - 40 ish.

The top downloads are usually matching the top of the charts pretty well, though.
