Anyway, I really don't see it getting a video. I had that feeling all along, and after Raine's comment on Live @ Much about "you got two videos" or something like that, I really don't see it happening. *shrugs* I hope I'm wrong and it has an amazing one, though.

If Sony thinks a anti Bush song sung by OLP will be played on US radio, they are mistaken. Wipe would get a lot less US radio play than either WAY Or Angels. And they barely were played

A lof of songs are better than Wipe.......it was the one song that has almost no life to it. If they kept that wicked guitar solo it might have passed but this version does nothing for me.

Personally Walking in Circles, Don't Stop, and World on a String are my faves.........the second half of the album kinda rocks........the first half is a little weak. A few better tunes up front and this could have been a wicked album.

I think that OLP have just given up on trying to crack the States. It'll be huge in Canada...but then again, anything they do at this point gets great radio play.

I still think OLP should do like a "documenta-video" detailing the crisis in Darfur with Al Genina playing. It could kinda be like the Thief video, for a good cause.

I personally think that could work really, really nicely.

It's really not far how they're treated. They've worked so hard and put out so much. Even here in Canada - like with me for example - I get jokes thrown my way because all my friends know I like OLP. They just totally laugh at the fact and trash them and I don't get it (it's not just to bug me - they really don't like them and they all say the same (After Naveed they went downhill).

I want a Wipe video personally and I Sony hasn't given up on them. I mean, they did let them spend so much money on a new CD right?

I take a lot of heat from my friends too... they loved OLP 5 years ago but have moved on and don't listen to them anymore.

And they call me an OLP stalker now!

I disagree, if you look at System Of A Down's song "BYOB" last year, it was a very political, anit-bush song (and downright horrible, think I was sick of it after it was played the first 2000 times) but it recieved a lot of air play. Lables dont care what a song is about, they only care about what is going to make them more money.
