That's exactly what I was thinking, Yannic. I had pictured a kind of dainty thin quill pen.

This is MUCH better. It's so powerful. It has such a presence. But it also has a great flow to it that gives it a certain grace.

merci. i wouldn't have been very happy with a dainty tattoo....

but you caught exactly what i wanted it to be. :nod:

i wanted it to represent my ideals as a writer..something strong and beautiful.

Also, I love that you designed your own tattoo. I would NEVER go in and pick one out of a book. I mean, I don't like the idea of even ONE other person having the same tattoo. It should be unique.

See, I want the same thing as claire, something with a presence, but beautiful and (very important) unique. Except I want a tree.

The problem however is that Claire seems to be brilliant with the tattoo-designing, and I couldn't draw a straight line as good as a squirrel.
