Post by Joanne »

Superbowl XL
ABC, 6 pm. February 5th.

since i didnt see a topic about this. i didnt know what to think. either someone forgot about it. or you guys just dont care.

obviously... me being from pittsburgh, am totally psyched for sunday and have been decked out in Black n' Gold for the past 2 weeks.

yea... so vote. discuss. bash (just not too harshly) predict. whatever.

bias opinion : steelers will smash the hawks.

Go Steelers!!!!!!!!! I hope they take down the Seahawks...since the Skins had like 5 chances to beat the Seahawks and blew them all :(

(yeah I'm a diehard Skins fan. I want vengeance!!!!!!!)

I'm an eagles fan but my dad is a steelers fan...so go steelers.

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

I don't really care, I'll just root for whoever my friends root for. I'm having a superbowl party. But I voted for Seattle.

I only watch for the commercials and halftime show. :happytears:

Oh, and it's really funny around here this year. NOBODY cares about the Superbowl. Everyone's definitely still bitter about last year.

Joanne, is your tv news pretty much a half hour (or hour depending on how long the news is) of Superbowl crap? Last year that's how ours was... it made me want to hurt people. :nikki:

my dad likes the steelers too, so yeah, Go Steelers.

as the biggest eagles fan on the face of the planet, even I was annoyed at the news coverage of the super bowl last year. it got to the point where the first 15-20 mins of a half hour news show was eagles coverage. i'd just turn to nik and say "ill bet some REAL news happened today too..."

but yeah. we're still bitter and we will be until the next super bowl. friggin patriots. at least they didnt win this year.

my pick is pittsburgh

I'm a Buccaneers fan.. so I really don't care.. but I like guys with wierd names.. and they don't get much wierder than Jordan Babineaux, Isaiah Kacyvenski, Niko Koutouvides, Itula Mili, Lofa Tatupu.. I mean compare that to what the Steelers have.. Ricardo Colclough, Chidi Iwuoma, Chris Kemoeatu, Troy Polamalu, Ben Roethlisberger

In my opinion.. the Seahawks win the wierd name battle.. therefore they win the Super Bowl
