I have some experience with 3d studios max for animating/autocad for objects as well as mixing multiple audio tracks together (in this case probably voices/sound effects/possibly some music)... so yeah, I could help out with that stuff!

Well, as far as voices go, I have to use the in-game editor for that because it has an auto lip-synch feature. But help with music and sound effects would rule. The movies doesn't have a very big library of effects and you can't cut/fade music in it anyway.

This is the forum for MED (movies editor) which was developed for editing meshes and stuff. I don't know if you can really do much as far as making stuff goes without the game, but it might give you an idea of what I need. Basically the only props that I need are miniature buildings for the robot fight scenes. My 3ds Max 7 serial ran out though, else I'd try making them myself. Thanks for offering to help, this is starting to come along rather nicely.

Once I get some voices sent in I'll start working on the test movie. I'll probably upload it on yousendit when it's done.

and i'm afraid of screwing up one of the guys' parts

so i'm going to be zordbob, and add a billion computerly effects with this sound program i have.

if you want me to be something else instead, just say so.

edit: though i could play one of the band member's parts if i change the pitch of my voice with the same program. right..i forgot i can do that.

i'll do zordbob and see if i sound better there first. because i'm not sure whether any of the guys would be thrilled knowing their voice was in fact acted out by a 14-year-old-girl. :lol:

Oh... so, maybe this is just me, but accents being wrong would completely throw it off in my mind. So if people who are from the general areas that each guy is from would try to do their voices, that'd be sweet.

Mike has a crazeeee accent. It's as much Canadian as English. And while the English bit should be northern English, it's not at all, it's posh southern english. Oh and I don't have a mic.
