Thanks Sooz!

Post by FrankTheRabidBunny »

Hey Soozy, thanks for the cute comment.. wish we were on the tv less actually.. we didn't plan on where we ended up, it was all luck.

The show sounded really good from in the studio actually, but watching it on tv, it was a whole new experience. It baffles me time and time again on how much the television production can make things sound entirely different.

And i have to agree, the questions could not of been any worse. Much needs to learn to screen them a little better. Get the help of management at least!

Oh, and did anyone notice during Angels who was standing next to me? Well it started getting crowded and a little agressive behind me... so when someone said 'can i get through for a moment' just as the song was starting, i wasn't thrilled, and about to tell the person off. Turns out it was chantal and little rowan. Once i realized it, i obviously let them in for a good view. They stayed only for the first two tunes, then split as rowan was looking tired, and considering he is growing fast, i think chantal was tired of holding him as well. ;)

:GASP: you guys were really close to us. I was 2 people deep on the aisle where the band came in (and they kept taking the bench in and out). If only I knew what you looked like I would have been able to meet you! I had a great view of Chantal and Rowan :) And I was in a perfect spot to NOT get on camera (except for when I was right behind Matte when he threw back to the band for Wipe)

Hehe, when they did the big closeup of you guys during the interview, the entire hub got all excited.

Possibly important question! Did anyone videotape one of the later airings of the show? Not the live one. Apparently, they re-edited the footage during Starseed. Maybe they fit the whole song in? *shrugs*

I'm assuming they did. Or at least didn't cut it off so awkwardly.

Nam said he'll rip it again if it airs again. Let's hope it does.

Yeah, it aired yesterday again. They started the intro as soon as they came back from commercial and included the whole song. Maybe someone ripped it.. They'll re-air it like 5000 times though in the next month anyways..

I wonder if they were hoping for post-show stuff too.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

About the Much Music VJ search, this gay kid I went to high school with who was two grades younger than me (in my bro's grade and many of his classes), Sean Gehon is in the Top 20. He works at Roger's Video here and would always annoy the piss outta me at my soccer games, because he came to watch a friend who was on my team. He's the most annoying guy ever. One of the guys I played football with in High School got suspended for calling him "Stewart Smalley" the character from the old SNL skit. He acts a lot like that guy...

Anyway, the point of this is... he gets to interview OLP next week on the Much VJ Search show... Lucky bastard.

from bove article..
Joining Stacey is Edmonton's Nathalie Morgan, 28, along with two Calgary finalists - Jennifer Barroll and Nicole Mah - for a healthy Alberta contingent. Following a gruelling "Interview Our Lady Peace and Yellowcard" ordeal, 10 contestants will be gone in one fell swoop in the second episode, airing Monday at 8 p.m. on Citytv (Cable 7).
