Oh, and the first time I saw that Matt guy with a mic in his hand I thought he was an audience member asking a question as he was soooo bad.

Yeah, I get the feeling that Much Music hired that Matte fellow only because of his name. Forget his lack of interview skills and music knowelege, its allll about the name. Next thing you know, there'll be a bloke working there named Dijon. :nod:

No, I mean interesting. There has been speculation (even here) on why OLP are making less videos. It seems like for every album now, they make 2 videos. Compare that to the 3 or 4 videos they made for the previous albums. That aside, the band has never officially said they would make less videos, much less stop making them..thus Raine's confusion with the question. Plus the guy asked them in an accusing kind of way...and he ended up coming off as an idiotic a--hole because of it.

they have put out less videos because they have put out less singles....there was a video for every single released except the last single from each album (thief is the exception)

like for naveed, there was no vid for supersatelite, clusmy(carnival), SM(mafia), gravity(made of steel).....they are really not doing anything different with videos

Star Daily... it airs at 6:30, I believe. There's no mention of OLP on the site for the show, though.

I started thinking about the music video question and then I remembered where it came from. When they did the Much Music On Set for the making of Innocent, Raine mentioned how they didn't really like videos and didn't care about making them. Maybe I'll watch the video sometime and directly quote it.

Oh man. On the star thing, there was a close up on me rocking out and singing. I was silhouteed and it looked cool. But that's embarassing lol.

all in all, the star thing was pretty dumb. just some shots of the concert... them setting up... all the food they have backstage... almonds! nothing really interesting to report. :lol:

I thought about that, too... but he never actually said anything about not making videos anymore in that, so I dismissed the thought. But I guess the kid might've forgotten the exact wording and stuff and thought that's what Raine meant.
