Every now and then I fall out into open air just to feel the wind, rain and everything.
And though the hum and sway gets me down

I watched this show EVERY DAY when I was a kid.

I wish it was still on so I could watch it again.

Seriously! Have you seen the crap kids are watching these days?! *shakes cane in the air*

Bobby's World and Animaniacs were two of the few that I actually remember watching constantly.

*phone rings*
Dot: I'll get it!
Wakko: I NEVER get to get it!

I was at the bottom of the pool
I don't recall how long
But it must have been a while
'Cause I had time to write this song

I never really watched Bobby's World. I remember it, though.

I think you're right!

They may have been introduced in a later season, I think (though I don't know why they aren't on the character list...)

haha, I'll always remember the way that Bobby would imagine things that he didn't really understand, often the same way I used to.

Uncle Ted: I'm really out of shape
Bobby: What shape are you supposed to be? *imagines Uncle Ted with a square head, triangle head, etc*

I just spent a week with my 6 year old nephew and I could not believe the crap he watched. His fave cartoons are sooo bad! Half of them are about poop and 'toots', which is explains why that's all he talks about (he even walks up to strangers and says "I just tooted and it's a bad one")

hahahaha

When/if I have kids/young relatives, I'm buying them DVDs of Bobby's world, animaniacs, pinky and the brain, and any other good shows I used to watch.

I'm buying my kids MacGyver. He'll teach them good morals and how to blow stuff up.

I still remember the episode of Bobby's World where he wanted a buzz cut but his parents wouldn't let him. And the one where he couldn't pass the shape test. And the one where he went on this huge adventure to win a contest but didn't win. And when he thought turning sixteen would make his sister nice to him.
