Bring a stuffed animal...or tell him to sleep on the floor, or you sleep on the floor. Put something between you and him in the bed. Or control yourself.

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

and what about a 17-year-old dating a 29-year-old? eh?? enh???
but i think the feelings need to be mutual first.

I don't have a problem with the age difference thing, but honestly, you're RARELY going to see a girl who's almost 30 going for an 17-18 year old boy. I personally feel that these guys who are hitting on these girls or want a "serious relationship" with girls who are like 10 years younger than them are really pathetic. Not that it's wrong in any sense, just that they, themselves are pathetic for not being able to connect with someone who's on more of a similar level in terms of what life they've lived and what they've had the chance to experience. Being 30 and dating a girl who's just out of high school (or is still attending) seems like it's just not fair to the girl. I totally support her decision to enter such a relationship, because she's old enough to express herself and make the decision of who she wants to be with, but she's experienced so much less of what's out there and of what's to come while being young. Being with someone who's already been through that phase in their life could take away a lot of what the girl should experience in her life. What I mean is that someone who's 30ish tends to be in a much more mature mindset in that they want a serious relationship. At 18, people should have fun, go to school, work, do whatever the hell they want, but there's going to be time later to devote yourself to a deep relationship. They should experience their youth first and once they're successful or at a point in their lives where they're ready to be completely grown up, then they should consider dating a 50 year old geezer. Live life while we have it! I say. We only live once after all... Well at least that's what some people believe.

(Note: I edited my post to say 50 year old geezer. Originally it said 50 year old man.)

I agree with you too. I think if its the younger girl who persues, that's a little different. But if its the older guy, I always think, what is wrong with him that he can't find people his own age.

Its hard to date someone older than you because at the basis of everything, you're in different stages of your life. It's hard to bridge that.
