I have a confession to make.

Post by quietorloud »

I am a huge fan of OLP and have been since I first heard Is Anybody Home on the radio.. but..I have to let you guys know something about me. Something that is not good. okay here it goes (dont hate me, guys!):
SPOILERS:

j/k, not really spoilers.

Okay, i never owned the Naveed album until a few hours ago when my friend bought it for me as a secret santa gift. I know, I know, I feel ashamed too. I've always been meaning to buy it, but i never got around to it. I've bought the other OLP albums before I got Naveed. My ears have never heard the pleasureful sounds of Hope, Dirty Walls, Is it Safe, and Under Zenith before tonight. Sorry guys, but I just had to let you in on the truth.
I don't do sigs.

Wowee.

Well, how do you like it? I'm assuming you enjoyed it, since you put "pleasureful" instead of "painful".

I liked it. Although Happiness and Clumsy are still my favorites. Neon Crossing, Naveed and Julia are my favorite from this album, but I've heard those before I got the CD.
I don't do sigs.

Give it a few more listens and I'm sure you'll enjoy the other songs just as much as the ones you already knew. :)

confession: i hated olp the first few times i heard superman's dead (one of the first songs i've ever heard from them).

Gee whiz, like what?

:D

EDIT: And I guess if we have to make confessions, I didn't like Naveed (the CD, the song was actually the only thing I liked from it) until a long plane trip in the seventh grade. So I didn't listen to it carefully until about two years after I got it.

Whoopee.
I just wanna get out,
Stuck inside of this.

Me too. But I was 8 or 9... and not really knowledgable on what good music was. :freak:

OH! And another confession from me. I lost all my favorite cds a few days ago. :( :(:( Including all six from olp (I still have the dvd, thank God). I still haven't given up hope on getting them back, but does anyone know a site to get every single song, cd version?...

Well, first you have to promise to buy them again.

Then, you can get on The Hub where everything (and I do mean everything) is shared.
