At a big outlet centre place near Seattle they kept asking me for ID whenever I used my credit card - and it wasn't just me, it was everyone as far as I could tell.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

But why would you have to be 18 to use a debit card? And you have to sign for debit?

My debit card doesn't have my name or sig on it.

I just looked at it, and turns out it does have my sig.

However, you don't have to sign to use a debit card. This helps how?

Well, we use the debit card as a form of ID, if you're getting money out in the bank, etc. So when you sign for your cash, we check the back of the card.

I had a TD account for 10 years and then got a TD Visa when I was in university, but one day they called me up and said they didn't want me to have their visa anymore as a student because I didn't have a consistent income (even though I never missed payments). So I paid off that card, cancelled my accounts too, and started banking with someone else.

Now that I'm married and working full time they call me up every week asking if I want a Visa, personal loan, mortgage. Umm... no!!

No. It's all or nothing. It's cause of Canada that it's white anyway. Apparently there was only white paint left over after we burnt it down. I really wish we'd gone into more depth on that in history, I never knew about the dinner thing

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

Actually, I think it was painted white because they used white-wash to cover up the smoke and fire damage.

That's really bizarre. There must have been some other reason (probably a mistake on Visa's end) that they sent it out. They don't cancel credit cards because of inconsistent income. Hell, inconsistent income is the best way for a credit card company to make money! If someone (and I'm not saying this was the case for you) is paying late all the time, that's just extra money for VISA with every bit of interest they charge.

Yes, yes, this is why I was confused and vowed to never bank with them again... it made no sense!!

I work for a financing company (loans, credit cards, mortgages). The people who hold a balance on the card are the best customers... otherwise we make no money! Anyone who pays in full every month (within the grace period) causes us losses (we pay to send them a card and statements, but we make $0 on them)
