How do you like it?

I personally was a bit disapointed, but there's at least 5 songs that are so damn good that i can't not like the CD. I would just never listen to it all the way through.

I recently bought

Twin Cinema - The New Pornographers
Pretty good album, catchy but enough indie flare to be intresting. Go Vancouver!

Wolf Parade
Quite Disapointed. There's 3 songs i really like, but the rest sound a bit to much like Modest Mouse. If you like Modest Mouse and The Arcade Fire you'll like them.

Live It Out - Metric
I know it's "cool" for guys to like bands with chick singers but I don't care this band is awesome. Plus Emily is Sex. Oh yeah and part of Broken Social Scene, that makes them 65% cooler.

At CD Plus we have 2 for $20. I like that deal better because spending 20 bucks on two cd's aint bad, but the whole $30 one is just tricking you into spending more money. Not to mention there's some really good Cd's on the promo.

Every now and then I fall out into open air just to feel the wind, rain and everything.
And though the hum and sway gets me down
, I'll find the way to peace and openness.

my god, it was spiritual watching it. ogre is a bizarre, even frightening entity, but he seems to be communing with the music he makes. i have never seen anything like it.

i think my life has been changed. i think i saw God.

I got the self titled David Garza CD one week ago today when I saw him open for Fiona Apple. Wow, he's amazing! I ordered the box set a day or two later...hopefully it will come today or tomorrow. I forget the name of the box, but it was like $32 (US) AFTER shipping for 4 CDs and a DVD...can't beat that

Brutus is an honorable man
It's just coincidence that oil men will wage war in an oil rich land
And this one goes out to my man taking cover in the trenches with a gun in his hand
Then gets home and no one flinches when he can't feed his fam...

But Brutus is an honorable man...

I think it's freakin sweeeeet. When I bought it, my friend and I listened to it like, 8 times before we finally stopped. And, haha we only stopped because we passed out, or I'm sure we'd have continued to jam to it.
It really is like a big pink elephant sex party in your stereo. I love it.
