that's not baaad...hurray!

A kid I know almost died today. He overdoesed on morphine, and then he gave the rest of what he didn't take to me after he went to the hospital.
He says he'll be okay now.
But I don't want his drugs. I don't, which is big for me. I took them from him so he won't take them. Or give them to some poor kid who doesn't know any better and dies on them.
The whole time, I just kept thinking, oh god, that could have been me.
I'm so glad I'm doing better than that. But I still feel bad for this friend of mine. I hope he really will be okay, and i hope he can kick his addiction now.
so that was my day. i'm going to bed now. have a fabulous night everyone!

it looks miserable outside. i woke up from a very long nap and found everything covered with snow.
oh well. this is good! nature should get the snow out of her system for a few days so that it doesn't start snowing like this on tuesday and my last exam doesn't get canceled so that i don't have to stay here to make it up and therefore miss my bus and my flight and have to pay an arm and a leg to get another flight home or else be stuck in horse-poop town for the entire christmas holidays.
*looks outside* sigh

i've been worried about this ever since it snowed the day like mad the day before my food service management exam and the school sent out an email saying "if exams get cancelled we post the info up wherever', and i thought, "exams cancelled? that's likely to happen? i hope none of my exams get cancelled! then i'll have to stay here to rewrite them and won't be able to go home!"
i know how you feel cass. i got three hours of sleep last night. but, instead of resorting to caffeine, i took the other way out. i took a four hour nap
