AUCTION UP ON EBAY!!

Post by Smooke »

Hey guys!

Up for auction is my recording equipment + EXTRAS!!

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... %3AIT&rd=1

Josh showed me this really cool recording device that he wants to get and I want to get that TOO :D .. so I need to sell this stuff and save up money for it!! and for schoeps mics!! So what are you waiting for!

Bid!! It's really great recording gear! All in MINT condition!!

I'm sad that I have to let it go  but I'm sick and tired of the DAT and transferring music over! I want something simple. I think this will be a perfect device for someone starting out.

It just takes up too much space in my room! It's driving me nutz!

I want the simplified recording device that Josh showed me earlier! It has the same capabilities of a DAT recorder but it transfers music over quicker and seemlessly.

Josh you'll have to send me the link again

I can't seem to find it in my unorganized favourites!!

I wish I had known you were going to sell your mics. I would have bought them off you.

Just wondering, when you say you're sending your last two recordings along with it, do you mean the master DATs or a copy on CD?

Josh, that's a silly question. I thought you had faith in your fellow CM'ers/Hubbers! :P ...what would be the common sense approach to selling a dat machine without any incentive to own DAT master's along with the "sold" machine?! :)

So that they can hear on CD how good a CD they'll be able to produce with their newly purchased mic/DAT/soundcard?

Still Josh, stop the politics

They could be able to produce a cd from the material off the hub too couldn't they?!

I don't see the harm adding the dat masters into the equation. I have no use w/ them if I don't have a DAT recorder anymore. Not unless you want me to send you the DAT master of the OLP show. You'll have to pay for the postage though.

Yeah, I've been looking at mics for a few weeks now. I could have used your whole mic setup. I might have bought the whole setup from you as well. Never hurts to have some extra recorders. :D

That's what I was getting at. ;) I don't currently have a DAT player either, but I'd be sad to see the master recording disappear into some random person's possession. :happytears:

well if my auction doesn't go as planned we can talk Matt

And Josh, yes I would be willing to send the DAT masters to Both OLP shows I recorded. I'm going to revise to the ebay listing right now.

You should just send to the winner a copy on CD of the OLP show and the original DAT of the other show you're offering, and if they question that say that you intended the one to be a sample of how the master DATs may sound, and the other to be a sample of the results from using the other equipment provided in the auction to do a digital transfer. :)

I'll take those two OLP masters. Just pm me with how much you think shipping to the US will cost for them, and I'll Paypal it to you. I'm leaving right now for California, though, so we'll have to work it out after I get back in about a week.

Also, I forgot to copy the Massey Hall show flac onto my laptop when I came home for Christmas, so I'll have to get that to you later.
