You know, I actually wondered about this. I was singing along and I was like, wtf, we're not all innocent! Saddam isn't innocent, Hitler wasn't innocent. I just don't think innocent was the word he was looking for...

Actually, we don't know what the ACTUAL original lyrics were. We just know they were based around the word "arrogant"... the entire song's lyrics probably changed when becoming "Innocent".

Evil is in the eye of the beholder... I don't think anyone doesn't do anything without belief or good intentions. Hitler honestly thought he was right, the Nazi party followed him because he tured Germany around and made them believe... The terrorists on 9-11 thought they were doing the right thing... criminals kill because they have lived a life of suffering and emptiness, murder sometimes means surviving. We are all innocent.

Guilty is a term used by the ignorant. Guilty is based on norms and the way we see things, yet noone can 100% understand any other human being on this planet (unless they have found a way to put you inside someone's head and I wasn't aware of it.) We are all innocent, in one way or another.

I daily make my university's housing and dining suffer, just because I have to pay higher prices for food than I did last year (in some cases double).

I think revenge is the mind's solution to alleviate what one feel's as being victim to a wrongdoing. Are you saying wanting to kill those responsible for 9-11 is evil? From an outside perspective it is... inside your head it's the right thing to do (assuming you feel that way).

Right and Wrong is in the eye of the beholder... doing something you know is wrong is a result of something inside you that desires that for some kind of fixation... feeling guilty afterwards... that's a characteristic of your innocence.
