The Angels/Losing/Sleep music video discussion...
I agree with most of you guys. The video really saps all energy out of the song. At least with WAY it seemed a bit more frantic and chaotic which I thought fit the song pretty well.
Maybe they just don't really care about vids anymore, I'm sure I've read many times how much they don't really like making them. It's too bad cause the songs on this album could really be made into some interesting videos.

There's not caring... and then there's letting a video destroy the vibe of an amazing song you worked very hard on. I can't imagine they're ok with that.

Yeah, I kinda liked the video at the start, but then when it just went on and on with the same thing over and over, with hardly any shots of Steve/Duncan/Jer, and with that ridiculous ending...yeah. LAME.

I think the concepts are ok, just poorly executed. If you watch the 2nd making of where they're talking about making it very simple so as not to detract or distract from the song, then that's fine. But it could have been done so much better. The slowed down singing thing I don't really like anyway, but to do it 2 videos in a row isn't good. There's definitely not enough of the other guys in the video, and the parachute thing at the end is really disappointing. Didn't one of teh guys say in the making of that it's aout raine searching for the rest of the band and finding them? Well why would he float away on a parachute and leave them all there? If they all floated away that would have been better. And where are the cows????
