I'm going to cancel my subscription to their rental service before the end of this week. I paid $10 for something, and with all the problems they've had I know that it wasn't service. I figure the $10 should cover me scratching up "The Devil's Background" after they sent it to me (I hadn't queued it) inside of the sleeve for "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" (which I would like to see). Not the first time they sent it to me. The first time, I reported that it was the wrong disc and sent it back. But clearly reporting that it is the wrong DVD has NO EFFECT. I also received "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer" inside of the sleeve for "I Know What You Did Last Summer" twice. Which the first time didn't piss me off, because the 2nd movie was down in my queue somewhere so I just removed it from my queue and told them to resend the correct DVD. But they didn't bother finding the correct disc for that one either.

Dude....if that shit EVER happens to me, I'll be bitter. I've been a member for like seven months now, and I haven't had any problems yet. Maybe the warehouse in Rochester that my discs tend to come from is a better location.
I keep it for the 2 instore rentals a month I get, cuz I use them for games. Freakin games are like what, 8 bucks there? The two coupons make it worth it alone, plus the 3 movies at a time. All for 17.99, and I got a DVD burner....

Heh yeah. I haven't used the in-store coupons yet because I don't know where the Blockbuster here is. :happytears:

This has all just happened in my first and only month of membership. I have the 3 at a time plan, and they sent the first 3 movies nice and quick, I watched them as soon as they arrived and mailed them back the following day. Got confirmation email from Blockbuster saying they got the discs back. Then they did nothing for a week and a half, even though the entire time there were several movies in my queue marked "available now." Finally they sent 3 more movies and all was good with them, I watched them and sent them back right away, they sent me 3 more movies quickly, but 1 was one of the wrong discs mentioned above. Reported that one as the incorrect DVD, sent them all back, got 2 more, 1 good and 1 the other incorrect DVD. Reported it and sent it back. Then they sent me the 2 incorrect DVD's again and 1 good one. So I did get like 9 movies I wanted, but I also got a week and a half wait for no reason, and 4 wrong discs. It doesn't really feel like 9 movies I wanted though, because 2 or 3 of them were parts in a series where the first movie hasn't been sent yet due to it not being available.

Oh my god.

So I emailed Blockbuster asking them why they slipped up and sent the same incorrect discs twice.

Their response, basically, said that in the future, I can expedite reshipping incorrect titles by reporting it on the website.

Yes, idiots, in the email I told you I'd already done that and received the incorrect discs a second time. :wall:

 You're gettin the shaft......it has GOT to be the morons working at your shipping location(s). Myself, along with 2 friends have the "3 at a time" package out here in NY, and none of us has had a single problem yet. We all love it.
If I was in your situation though......I really don't know how much I could deal with it either.
Did ya'll know theres a website that operates just like Blockbuster Online, but exclusively for PORN

Hey pa? This world it wears you out.

I just got out of Classics, and walked out into the rain. That's okay. Pop out the old umbrella, threw on my headphones, and away I went. Halfway to the biosci complex, the wind snaps my umbrella in two with a sharp finality. Great. A girl walks by, smiles and says something. I can't hear here. Screw it, I think. Shove the umbrella in the trash. "Piece of shit" I mutter to the trash can. You can keep it. Shoving my hands in my pockets, I carry on. Driving onward through the downpour. The wind. The leaves. The music stops. Pause. Change. Beat.

Can you feel me slide in?

The beat is faster. My feet are faster. Hands out, arms stretched, I give in to the rain. Get me wet. Make me cold. Feel the wind's bold caress. Splashing feet, dripping hair, speckled vision, I walk unfettered. One with the weather. A shoelace flaps in the breeze, in the wet. I tie it and move on. I clench my fists in the bitter cold. Ecstacy. Sticky. Look at my hand. Blood. A lot of blood. I check my nose, my face, my ears. Clean. My hand: blood. Try wiping it off, but there is more. Forgetting the rain, I run inside. Washroom, sink, soap, rinse, repeat. A cut on my hand. The music stops. A man is singing while he pees. He looks at me. The music stops, he is silenced. The air drier just seems to encourage the blood. How it started I can't understand.

The umbrella. The metal.

Snap.

One last jab before the trash can shouldered the burden.

Does a cut hurt if you can't hear it scream?

Grab a drink, see a computer. In a fit of insiration I type, pausing to suck the blood from my finger. Hoping I don't get a virus from the very public keyboard sitting in the middle of a hallway.

Do birds type?

Would they mind if I get blood on the keys?

Now back to the washroom to wash the unseen from my hands.

Damn I'll bring them to their knees...

Woah, okay...where to start.

Guys, I feel really silly. What's this thread for??? I don't get it! I thought about reading all 1457 previous pages to figure it out, but then realized I'd be sitting here all night, and my eyes would dry up and fall out. So...help?

Robbo- WHAT WAS THAT?
It was wicked, whatever it was, haha.
Who's pa?
Is this something I should know? ehn.

TTYNKAM (TYPDCAA)
abbr. Today's thing you never knew about me (that you probably don't care about anyway).
n. The CM's thread where anything goes. Title followed by roman numerals due to the thread being screwed up, deleted, and re-spawned time after time (current incarnation is IV).
Ex. "'What does TTYNKAM (TYPDCAA) mean?!?!' asked the noob."

Josh already took that one. I'll just add that I stole the idea years ago from a feature on an online comic's website. You basically post anything here that's on your mind. Anything that you might want to post, but don't want to make a whole new thread for. It's a mind-dump.

Robbo- WHAT WAS THAT?

I have no idea. It's just what happened to me today and I felt like posting about it. I honestly don't know why. lol Thanks, though. :)

It's from a Matt Good song. 3 of the one-liners in that post were Matt Good lyrics that I heard at that point in the story. "Hey pa? This world, it wears you out" is from the song Man of Action:

They say the kid sold out
In love with himself, run ragged
Always looked to be a man of action
Cause that's what the old man should have been but
This world it wore him out
Hey pa? This world, it wears you out

I'm tempted to type the rest of the song just because I like it so much. But I suppose I'll leave it at that.

Gah. Reading that now, I see so many spelling and grammatical errors. I'll chalk those up to the incapacitated finger.

Which stopped bleeding shortly after I finished typing, by the way. :D
