And this one goes out to my man taking cover in the trenches with a gun in his hand
Then gets home and no one flinches when he can't feed his fam...

But Brutus is an honorable man...

Romance Bloody Romance - Death From Above 1979

Small Sins - The Ladies And Gentlemen

both are solid, but DFA1979's was disapointing because they only remixed the same 4 songs over and over again. On the bright side, our computer at work say that DFA1979 has a new real album coming out in the near future.
"How can we justify spending so much on destruction and so little on life?" Matthew Good

"The white dove is gone, the one world has come down hard, so why not share the pain of our problems, when all around are wrong ways, when all around is hurt, i'll roll up in an odd shape and wait, untill the tide has turned.....with anger, i'm dead weight, i'm anchored"- IME, God Rocket (Into the Heart of Las Vegas) ^ Some say this song is about a terrorists thoughts before 911

"Pray for the sheep" Matt Good
"But it's alright, take the world and make it yours again" Matt Good

I felt it in the wind, and i saw it in the sky, i thought it was the end, i thought it was the 4th of July.

"Hold on, hold on children, your mother and father are leaving, hold on, hold on children your best freind's parents are leaving, leaving,.......*AHHH*! " - Death From Above - Black History Month

Is it just me, or does The Ladies and Gentlemen sound really really mellow on the album, compared to the live show?

And though the hum and sway gets me down

I concur!

I went to the website before the show to listen to a few tracks, and they were all meh. Then during the live show, they just blasted those songs!

I think it was all the guy with the sideburns smacking the tambourine against his chest.

YES! HE WAS FUCKING AWESOME!

He had a handlebar mustache and we named him Francois!

And then we all died laughing when Rich came on stage and he had a handlebar mustache, too!

Did Francois do that thing where he played his effects board with a maraca?

He was so intense, yet did so little.

The only time I saw any expression on his face was when he was rocking out on the effects board and his tambourine fell off. He ALMOST cracked a smile.
