Feeding a Lot in a Feedlot
What is a feedlot? Some call it a kind of city where as many as 10,000 cows live, eat, and grow on their way to becoming our next beef meal. Cramming all those cattle into a feedlot keeps costs down and profits up. Here's what else goes into making the process cheap and fast:
Corn and More Corn: At the feedlot, cows are fed corn. Lots of it. It's a cheap, easily transported kind of food. But corn is something cows didn't evolve to eat. In fact, corn and other grains can upset cows' digestive systems so much that they get sick-bloated, full of heartburn, or worse. (Sounds a little like what happens to people when they eat too much greasy food!)
Add the Antibiotics: To help the cows deal with their grain-heavy diet, they're fed lots of antibiotics. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) says that those antibiotics are being used safely, but some experts disagree. Experts say that even if the antibiotics don't harm us directly, they contribute to the development of bacteria in our environment that are resistant to antibiotics. The bacteria could cause infections in humans that we just can't cure.

The definite plateaus represent a temporary cessation of change in temperature. This is because the paradichlorobenzene is going through a state change, from solid to liquid, or from liquid to solid, and its energy is being used in the melting/freezing of paradichlorobenzene.

It is imperative that you make an appearance on the Montreal scene this weekend irrespective of Princess's PMS. On Friday night the neighbours are having an Arab party and you must both attend on account of lots of shisha and drugs and optional turbans. Do as I say.
