You had to pay to be a member of the PPU back in the day, I don't mind the paid fanclub membership idea. :happytears:

So who else noticed the cool tour date info on there?

There is no way I would ever pay for that kind of thing. Ever. What bullshit.

Indeed. I wish it were bigger, though. Looks like a nice shot.

It isn't that ridiculous or bullshit at all.

If you haven't noticed, ourladypeace.net hasn't had a whole lot on it in the past few years. Whenever there were Christmas greeting videos, etc. Stace had to use the hub and other file sharing programs as a means of getting the video out to fans. She couldn't just put the high quality version of the video up on ourladypeace.net for direct download. My guess is that was because the website was run on a tight budget and they were using a host that didn't offer a whole lot of monthly bandwidth to their clients. As far as I know, they only had the webspace and bandwidth to support the concert photos section, and any other media would have swamped them.

The new site is actually going to have content... there's sections for videos, photos, and audio, and I expect them to slowly fill up with a variety of things from the band. When they changed servers a few days ago, it was probably because they were moving to one that offered more webspace and bandwidth, which they will now need, and which is more expensive for them to run. It also seems that there may be some additional ourladypeace.net staff now.

As a college student that's way too much money for me to be able to afford.

actually that isn't a bad price.

U2 was $40( $20 for old members)

Robbie Williams is 25 pounds.

OLP aren't really bad. I would join only to be kept in the loop. Besides alot of you might not remember buy the actually fan club was $20 a year and you got to do pre-sales, and got 4 mailings a year.. With that in mind it isn't a bad deal..

When I saw Shea I was like what the hell is that? The last show at shea was the Rolling Stones in 89'.. They haven't had a concert there since then as far as I know.

Maybe there is a huge show going on sale like U2 or the Stones. Those are the only bands who play stadiums unless there is some kind of festival thing going on. But somebody said there is a Met home game going on then.

Hey if true they will be in NYC in MAY. God that is 8 months away
