See, I did a simple google search and got some medical sites with diagrams like the above.
But I just did another search using the technical term "Uterus Prolapse", hoping to find out what they do (to answer your question).
Dear lord.
Instead of a simple diagram, I stumbled upon some actual pictures.

I found out that they have to place it back in, then sew it back in.

Okay, so I just mentioned this to my roommate, who not only knew about this but read this (nonfiction) book last year about this cult whose leader tortured its members, and apparently this one woman in the cult started having this "problem" after her second pregnancy, that is to say her uterus started um, falling out, and the guy would um, pull on it. To torture her.
