alright, i thought you were sassing me for a moment

the post office is a system that people use to send letters, or "mail", to each other over long or short distances

but they have a reputation for doing things such as:
1. losing "mail"
2. delivering "mail" late
3. being lazy

and finally
4. showing up at work with a gun and shooting their fellow employees

thus the term "going postal"
