I still like my theory about the A/L/S video (that I'm sure won't actually happen)... that maybe they'll record part (or all) of it at the Massey Hall show.

Wow.. hard to believe the discussion about A/L/S video's starting already.. I just saw the video for WAY? Saturday at WalMart... I like the slow motion guitar stuff.. didn't really get all the other stuff going on though.... A/L/S better get played in the US...

Anyways I think olp need one hell of a video for ALS, like a serious one, one where you go wow thats fucking amazing shit, The last 3 videos they have done have been garbage, they need a real powerfull.

Ive had ideas for three songs as videos

ALS= A video of a drug addict, trying to survive, basically showing what he goes through. and what he deals with. The lyrics real fit it, I think it would be cool

Will the fututre blame us- Showing how the world is being depleted of resources, new buildings and high rises being put up, rain forests being plowed, oil....war...... you name it

Boy- The life of two boys, one white child growing up in middle class america, the other a boy growing up in a middleastern country, It shows how they live each day, the video kinda speeds up and it shows them mature and get older, then one day they are both involved in the war in iraq, and they end up on the battlefield against each other. The whole video would be split screened

oooh, i read that and the first thing i was remided of was the Precious Illusions video for Alanis Morissette. :nod:

edit: um..... i read it more slowly, and it's really only the split-screened idea that reminds me of that video. :lol:

Thank you. I thought the same thing.

It's tough to make non-cliched videos now, though. Very rarely do any come out that really wow me. In fact, the only one I can think of that's come out in a really long time that I really really love is the new Audioslave video.

I'll just be happy with one that's actually cohesive, unlike the WAY video.
