Yep, my mom basically disowned me when she found out I was on the pill. I was 18 I think when she found out. She was going through my drawers looking for something and she found them and she came out with them in her hand and she was crying and she was like, "I don't even know you anymore."

I was just like: :wtf:

Then she started making comments like: "Why will he want the cow if he can get the milk for free?"

Implying in her own way that I should wait until marriage and referring to me as the cow :lol:

a few months ago, i was so into the whole sexual exploration. it's amazing when you have all these questions and then you find a guy (or girl, whatever) that wants to try stuff with you. it's really fun, figuring out stuff together.

I hate - HATE - when people use that as a reason not to have sex.

Because if your only reason to get married is to have sex, the marriage is NOT going to last, since it's got no basis besides physical.

Sex is not a good reason to get married, and if that's out of the way the decision to get married can be based on the love in your heart, not the love in your pants.

I am saving myself. Why? I believe that marriage is eternal. Not just till death do us part. That means whoever I pick and whoever picks me...well I want to give them something very special. And I've just been raised that you don't have sex before you are married. To be perfectly honest for me, it's just never been hard for me to control my desires. I've seen so many people screw up their lives with sex, that I just don't feel like I have to do that. I wonder if any of that made sense...

your poor friend, though. i know of a few guys who've experienced that, but they usually pin it up to performance anxiety
