What an awful choice. God awful. I realize that most OLP fans like this song, but it will fail miserably as a single. It's just not single material.

OLP had a chance to get a quite a bit of radio time in the U.S. if they released Will The Future Blame Us as their 2nd single. That is single material. That will get played. Angels Losing Sleep will not.

It's ridiculous what they've done with their 2 choices of singles. I'll give a pass to Where Are You, as that song still did a good job keeping OLP afloat on American airwaves, but I can not understand why they would release Angels Losing Sleep.

Will the Future Blame Us and Love and Trust should have been 2 & 3.

meh, they'll probably pick one of those for the next single.

A/L/S will do amazingly well in Canada.

Driven: If you read any thing on OLP lately they are not really concerned about single material. they are more concerned with having a lasting effect with their music.

On the other hand, I think it's a brilliant choice for the next single. I really REALLY hope it gets some real promotion around here. No one I know here in Chicago has even heard of Where Are You?

Good choice for single, but if they don't make Love & Trust a single eventually, I will be very very mad.

I dont get why you people want love and trust as a single. Everytime a song I really like becomes a single it loses some of its awesomeness. You just end up hearing the song so many times that you become numb to it. And everyone else knows the song even though they never bothered to buy the album and stuff like that. Its frustrating. Love and Trust should not be released.

Then you think you will inspire

(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

A/L/S is a great choice, haven't heard WAY here yet.. and probably won't since most people look at my custom made shirt and say, what's Our Lady Peace.. but A/L/S has the potential to get played here I think.. L&T should really NOT be a single, it's like ... a song that the masses wouldn't like that much while the OLP fanbase really enjoys, like The Wonderful Future or Stealing Babies ... possible singles would be Picture, WTFBU, WTSOYF, or Al Genina (released so that all the money made goes to help out Warchild, I could so see that video in my head, it would be a really sad, video yet like brilliant)

Ha ha ha! Oh gosh that's funny! That's really funny! Do you write your own material? Do you? Because that is so fresh. You are the weakest link goodbye. You know, I've, I've never heard anyone make that joke before. Hmm. You're the first. I've never heard anyone reference, reference that outside the program before. Because that's what she says on the show right? Isn't it? You are the weakest link goodbye. And, and yet you've taken that and used it out of context to insult me in this everyday situation. God what a clever, smart girl you must be, to come up with a joke like that all by yourself. That's so fresh too. Any, any Titanic jokes you want to throw at me too as long as we're hitting these phenomena at the height of their popularity? God you're so funny!

Yep, I was going to actually write a response to him explaining why I thought it would be a good single, but then I decided to be lazy.

I don't think I could make any Titanic joke, I've never seen it.

But really, my picture response was about as thoughtful as Driven's original rant. I don't see him explaining what makes Angels/Losing/Sleep not single material. I think he just doesn't like the song, or likes to complain.

I thought about drawing in "4ever" after the goodbye, but I was too lazy for that as well. :)

A/L/S will either do amazingly well or people will just hate it. Who knows.

Those are really the only options anyway. :freak:
