Our Lady Peace and singles...

Hello to everyone. My question is to those who've been around Our Lady Peace when they've been releasing videos.

What is the normal time span between singles? Do they take more than 3 months before another video after the first one...or 1 month? What? How does Our Lady Peace and videos come together in terms of release?

I know Raine hates making the videos, so does that have an effect?

Teedus take a swing by olp.cc. There is a timeline for the videos on there. It should help you get an idea of how much time in between on the singles.

After "Breakfast with the Band", the djs on CFOX mentioned that they know what the next single is... but they wouldn't say. Just the fact that it's already chosen makes me think it'll be coming out in the not-too distant future, though.

I guess itll be here soon, I hope they makea goiod video for the next one, if the single is WTFBU or angels loosing sleep I can see them making something good.

I think it should be Angels because I would die if I heard that on the radio. Die in a good way. Like those 1/500 guys.

I think Picture would be the next single

Raine is so passionate about the song, even when singing it live. Plus, in a picturesque perspective I can see so many windows on how a video can look with this type of song. So many!

I have a business mind and business minds think alike. If OLP want to put an impression and picture across they'd choose Picture as the next single.

I agree that Angels would make the best new single. I dont know about Picture though, that might just flop like WAY did.

because of the nature of nickelbacks new single i highly doubt picture will be released next. my moneys on angels.

i was JUST thinking the same thing. i would love to see a video with Picutre... wehenever i hear the song i always have images in my head. :love:

but then, i doubt that Picture will be a single. not that cause its not good (cause it is) but because of olp.com and how they didn't list the song sample.

I love Picture, but I really don't think it's got as much single potential as Angels. The very first time I heard a clip of Angels, I was completely into it.

I had a dream last night that I was in a store and I heard Wipe That Smile Off Your Face. I freaked out and wrote on a piece of cardboard "Wipe -> Single", so I'd remember to announce it on here.

But then I realized that it was a live version, because Raine screwed up the lyrics. :lol:

Wipe -> Single. As in, Wipe is the next single.
