maybe we should tell Raine that O'Brien is way better, he encourages artists and pushes them but is also into the live off the floor and only usinga few takes like Rock, but he just seems to do better work then Rock, in fact i think about 90% of Brenden's work is better then Rock's best work (Metallica)

I didn't really like Brendan's work with Incubus, but that was more the band's fault than Brendan's I think. I don't think it was his idea to cram 14 songs onto that album, when only 11 or 12 of them were really necessary. But who knows, maybe he had a hand in that. A minor bump in the road though. I liked how he made most of the STP records sound. I know a lot of people don't like the last two STP records much, but I think they had a great sound even if the songs weren't always spectacular. Very layered and clear and harmonic, but not really overpolished.
yeah The Music and Soundgarden's Superunknown both turned out great too.
