Fairground/ Mike Turner

Anybody heard the fairground tracks on their website?

What do you guys think?

My favorite song is Down in it.

Best part of every song: feature guitar. The lyrics are sometimes a little bit corny, and i have to say that Lesperance is not the same kind of vocal talent that Raine Maida or Jay McGroarty are, and I find MT works better with guys who sing the falsetto.

I like the stuff Mike did with McGroarty a lot better than I like the fairground material, but they're not done recording yet and at least the guys in fairground now what a talent they have in MT.

Yeah, Fairground is fairly pop-rock. I can't stand the lyrics, and the vocals themselves are pretty bland.

I definately agree that the songs Emtee did with Jay were much much better.

Fairground is nothing too special, even with the Turner.

The songs that are on the website right now are all just Lesperance tunes from his solo album that Fairground recorded as a group

hopefully their full length release will be a lot better. but who knows.

Yeah, I just used the IE search function (ctrl+f)... it was on the second page of the forum.

What is this "IE" you speak of? Some sort of primitive web browsing device...?
