Death Cab for Cutie- Plans

Post by Jay84 »

this is the other "major" release on my calendar today.
after one listen, i really like this record. it doesn't quite top the greatness that is transatlanticism(clearly an impossible feat) but it's still a very pretty album. *watches 5 man points being deducted* word is "plans" grows on you like back hair so i wouldn't be surprised to see my appreciation for it rise with time.
i was surprised, however, to see "stability" (now "stable song"), on the album. it's essentially the same song minus the long interlude and with guitar replacing the piano.
favorite song on the album would have to be "i will follow you into the dark."

end.

ahhh, I so also bought Plans today. It's a pretty good cd, well I pretty much had already heard it from my friend Laura, so I knew I was going to like it already.
Transatlantacism is really good, but I think that my favorite death cab cd would have to be Photo Album. I dunno, all the death cab for cutie cds are so great.
