Concerning Montreal and Vancouver free shows

Do you guys know how these shows work? Can we attend the show without having the wristband? I have class that day and I don't think I'll be able to be there so I wonder if I could send my friend there and get the wristband for me? Is the wristband good for only 1 person, because it would be weird to attend a show alone. Anyways, I'm going to the show that night, so I wouldn't mind that much but it's still coll tho. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the wristband is only for one person. also, i've read that the cash person puts it on you at the time of purchase of the new album. so if your friend goes for you, she'll be wearing the wristband. explaining the situation to the cash person might work.
i'm also going to the show the night of. if i get a wristband, i probably wont use it cuz i'd be attending the free show and then i'd have less than an hour to hop some public transportation and get in line for "doors open."

exactly what what jay said, the future shop people (or best buy people) will like, staple the wristband together WHILE you're wearing it - if you aren't there to recieve it, you won't be going. you can only get 1 wristband even if you buy 2 albums, or at least thats what it says in the vancouver future shop catalogue.

the vancouver future shop thing is holding 700 wristbands, how early do you guys think i should go to line up? 700 isnt a tiny amount of people but i don't know how early should go, for this kinda thing. here the future shop opens at 10am.

i have found someone to go to the free show with me, i think we'll be going earlyish, 7am at the latest. so maybe i'll see you there kaegan
