Will there be another album? (title fixed)

I just got a bad feeling that they wont release a new album because, didnt the band have troubles during the recording of HIPT, with band members walking out, hence the song Dont Stop.

and leave me alone bout my spelling I took the year off from college and my brain got a little retarded lol, but i'll try to make it start working for the grammar police on this board lol

The premier last night said that Don't Stop was at least in part based on Raine's experiences in Darfur and Iraq.

And also although the band had lots of conflicts during HIPT that was also the reason why they pulled together and tried to make the best record they could. From all the interviews lately and especially the premier last night it sounds like their really happy with where they are musically and with each other and I don't see any reason why they would quit now. If anything I think they'd want to continue making music.

I heard that dont stop, was a song raine wrote when the band had one of their little "tiffs". The words "dont stop sucking me in making me come back to you, no one will ever compare will ever be better then you" Its like raines trying to say to the band dont leave me, i may mess up but no one is better then you guys. Well thats just my way of lookin at the song I guess.

Like Raine said something about how OLP was a family and even though they have occasional fights they always come back together. Overall, it seems the band is really in their element nowadays.

To me it seems that Raine seems a hell of a lot happier than he's ever been, more content with the band and life in general, and if raine's happy then the rest of the band seems to follow.

Yeah, I know. I'd love to hear everyone's opinions after actually hearing the songs... but there's no way I'm actually gonna do it. Way too much to re-read.

After the album, Live, they said that it was the end of one chapter, and the start of another... I doubt they'd end this next chapter so early.

If the band was to make another album, it probably would take longer and would be more difficult to make than it did this one to make, just cause at that point pretty much everyone in the band is going to have kids...with the exception of Steve...and that can really take up a lot. That's the way I see it anyways, because kids and family are huge commitments and big responsibilities.
I can't really see any of the guys from the band quitting on music though just cause it is such a huge part of them, although I guess you never know.

OLP usually takes 3 years between albums, so after this one, we definitly cannot expect one until at least 2008.

Nah, not necessarily that long, Happiness, SM, and Gravity all came out very close to each other.

Yeah, 3 albums within less than 3 years isn't bad at all.

Also judging from how different each of those records were from each other, it's amazing how much the band can change within such a short period of time.

In 1 and a half years, OLP entirely re invented themselves between SM and Gravity.

I always like listening to the last track on SM (Wonderful Future) and the first Track on Gravity (All For You)

Its amazing how band can go from a wonderful future to all for you in only a year and a half, their so incredibly different,
