No, I was going to ambush them with questions, I never really had a SINGLE one in mind, there was so much I was going to ask. I was going to ask about the future of Our lady Peace, as their contract ends after this CD, and after all the fighting, I would just like to have them tell us. Hell, they were planning on going on a "break" after Gravity, so this is the album that was never going to be.

Then I was going to ask them what their favorite song to play live is. I dunno, I think it'd be interesting to find out.

And then what I was going to ask them was how they felt about their album being leaked onto the internet, if they really cared, or as long as someone was listoning and liking their music.

In the end, I probably would of asked the 2nd and 3rd one.

Maybe its just me but I really think this album will be a big one in the U.S. Like people are really going to start to like them. I also, think it may get some media attention because it has the title "Healthy In Paranoid Times" and that stuff about it etc... The media loves to feed off of that kind of sutff as well.

Assuming Sony does their job properly and gives the album some real promotion here in the states.

I'm a horribly selfish person, but I don't want them playing the E Center or the Delta Center in Utah :(

Columbia is and has always done the job properly with OLP.

The CD will be successful in the states if they get a big #2 single. Where Are You is doing quite successful in some big cities, but it's almost like a lot of cities radio stations don't even have the song.

I know San Jose just got it last week.

It'll definately be interesting. I don't know if it will be more successful than Gravity though.

I will predict one thing - HIPT will sell more albums in its first week in the U.S. than Gravity did in its first week. There's just such a bigger fan base now and the album is anticipated more.

I've got the playlists for many of the radio stations in the U.S. that plays OLP if anyone wants them. It's on a website. It's updated every Wednesday morning, and I'm checking them right now. Where Are You has basically been played the same amount as it was before. I haven't checked Buffalo yet, but I know it was #2 on their playlist last week. It moved up to third on a radio station in Detroit with 37 plays.

So, it's basically being played the same as it was last week on the radio stations that played it, but that doesn't include the ones that have just added it to its playlist.

I really don't know how well its gonna do. Innocent may have been a bigger single.

See, this is what I'm talking about. These playlists for the week show how many times the songs have been played between 8/13 and 8/20. But St. Louis just added the song on 8/1. So it's gonna go up. Buffalo added the song on 7/1. So it's gonna go down. So, overall it might not go high on the charts or anything, but it may end up doing a great job selling the record.

I just re-listened to Raine answering my question. I figured out what was wrong, George totally asked it wrong. I wanted to know what it took to motivate the band to speak out lyrically about the war and despair in the world on the new CD. George makes it sound like I was trying to say what it took for them to want to get a message out. Now Our Lady Peace hates me :(

i've seen them on mod. during the commercials, they sign stuff and talk to the people in the crowd. the interview will probably be like 10 minutes though. so the rest of the 50 minutes are sooooo boring. you just pretty much sit there and do nothing. after olp leave, i think i am gonna fake an illness so i can leave early. heh.
