I have never heard "clutch" used as slang. It reminds me of She's All That and Mean Girls

I am excited for school. A week from Monday...oh man.

I wish all of my relatives lived in another country. Mine all live within two hours of me.

Ok...I lied. Some live across this country. But...yeah.

Hi Dom.
-Sarah

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

I never thought clutch was slang. I use it all the time. Although I am a sports fan so maybe that's why. Like, a "clutch scorer."

I got home from work at 5:30 and cleaned for 5 solid hours. Now I ache all over, but my flat is much more presentable - except I still need to hoover and somehow sort out the crazy mess that is my spare room before visitors arrive at 12 tomorrow.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

I wasn't supposed to work tonight, but they called me in a panic and now I have to go in. Or else I'd feel too bad...plus it's an easy $100. Tomorrow is my last day...
