i cried when i heard 4 am in concert..it's my favourite song and means a lot to me...and then i cried a little bit after the concert...because it was over. i think if i met the band i might cry..

ive cried when i was younger for concerts cause everything was really overwhelming. i dont cry anymore. i just freak out.

i'll be body guard for anyone who wants a chunk of olp. i'm known for having good bitch slaps. :uh:

i promise if you were to run away with a member of olp. i could guard you from any suspicious activities.

i want a wooden bat to crack people with though :evil:

I just never noticed it as much as now..

I only cried( or really got teary eyed) at two OLP shows. The reason was because it was on the anniversary of people I loved and lost.. They did the songs that made me think of them-so it was more or less emotions. I told Raine one time that one of the songs helped me deal with the death of someone close to me.. That I found comfort in the lyrics. He told me that is one of the joys of songwriting. How his lyrics effects people..

speaking of crying. I can't get through ONE live without getting teary eyed. That songs moves me so much.

I LOVE One. It is my favorite all time song. I assume you're talking about the U2 version anyhow. I have a Johnny Cash cover of it and it is so good too! :drool:

I'd like to clarify that I've never cried (or even been close I don't think) at an OLP concert. The last time I cried was at the Killers when everyone went crazy during Mr Brightside and I thought someone was going to hit my neck

The nice boys around me all protected me though until the song was over and I could run away to the side where it was safe. All the other times have been becuase of the songs though

yep the U2 song. I haven't heard the Jonny cash version. But I heard REM's and The Tea Party's versions though..

That is my fave U2 song.. it also means alot to me because what the song actually represents for U2.. they came close to brekaingup during the recording of AB. This was the song that made them come back as a band stronger then ever. th esong that made them realize just how special the band was, and what each member meant to one another. Or as Bono once said It is abourt 4 men coming together in a room and making music..

that is what I think of everytime I hear the line. "We're one, but we're not the same, we get to carry each other" :cry:

plus I just love Bono's voice on this.. :love:

they did it at Clinton's campaign so it may be around somewhere. I don't even have it. I just remember watching them sing it on TV.. Probalby around 91' was the year it is form.. 92 th latest.
