State of Love and Trust is one of PJ's best, hell, the whole singles soundtrack is amazing.
some of us never lost faith in the band. As for the asinlges soundtrack. I love the AIC ong WOULD, and the Paul Wasterberg Song ..
I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again Teach the young people how to think, not what to think-Sidney Sugarman
After staring at the album leak on LimeWire for days, I finally couldn't take it anymore and downloaded it , but ... a great album nonetheless, and per previous requests, my analysis will be in black font, so highlight if you want to read it...
Angels Losing Sleep - awesome song, but compared to what I think of some of the other songs on this album, it's probably near the middle of the road for the whole album, while still being as great as it is, maybe I just listened to the clips too many times, but it's a good sound for a 2nd or 3rd single
Will The Future Blame Us - This song is great, I love the one line "I'm not sure what the hell we're fighting for", that sums up the entire song in one line, the lyrics are a little straightforward, but I like that for this one at least
Picture - This is the best song in what I see as the first group of songs on the album (it seems to me as the album's split between the first songs 1-5 and the ending 6-12), I love the middle section where it's "please pick up the phone, I wanted you to know", that part makes the whole song
Where Are You - It's in the bottom two for me on this album, although I like it better in the album context than I did alone as a single, this is still one of my least favorite OLP songs, but it's ok... not much to say, almost everyone, if not everyone on here's heard it anyway
Wipe That Smile Off Your Face - This is a good song, but it could be great, missing the emotion in the beginning, from the guitar solo on to the end of the song though it picks up overall
Love And Trust - Probably the 3rd best song on the album, best song possibly if you take the length of the song into consideration... I love it, plain and simple, it's amazing,
Boy - I finally see what people have been talking about with Raine sounding a lot like Bono in this one, he actually does, but it's so much better, since I usually don't like U2, but I like this, it's amazing how it fits in with the rest of the album like it did
Apology - THE BEST SONG ON THE ALBUM ... I love it, it seems like a love poem that Raine wrote and he put to music and the words are so dragged out and it's just amazing, You are my love, simple line, but so complex by the way Raine sings it... and the ending is just ... woah ... I never thought a song would take my breath away like this one did
World On A String - This song is 100x better than I thought it would be through the clips I heard, it seemed like it would be bottom of the heap after listening to the clips of songs, but when you hear the whole thing it's just a ton better, it makes you want to jump up and stuff, that's strange to say about an OLP song, but it's just got a vibe to it, a very fun song, I could see this being a good single, it's different for them, but it's not too different that it's not OLP
Don't Stop - Sad to say, one of the worst on the album, but it's still good, I like it, but I don't love it, it might just be the placement, if you listen to it in shuffle mode, it might be better, it's just that it's after some great songs that makes it a little disappointing, I guess I'm just saying it could be better
Walking In Circles - I don't know why so many people are saying this is a bad song, I really like it, again, the bassline is awesome, and I like the whole song, it's different, it changed since the live versions, but not to the point that it's indistinguishable from it... they just let go about halfway through and start kicking ass .. I like the whole echo thing too, like someone else said above .. this is one that grows on you with listens
Al Genina (Leave A Light On) - Sad, eerie, it's amazing, the more I think about it, it's soo hard to decide if this is better or if Apology's better, they're both so frickin amazing, just so sad, I was just like *jaw dropped to floor* when I heard it the first time, ... I'm losing words to say on this song
OVERALL - Comparing this album to Gravity, it's soo much better, a lot of the time in Gravity I would have to look at the track # to figure out where I was, I'd lose track and they all blended together... that doesn't happen on HIPT, every song has it's own distinct sound ... Steve's guitars have progressed a ton since Gravity but that could probably be attributed to the band's chemistry of being together a little longer, this is probably their 5th best of their 6 albums, but Naveed, Clumsy, Happiness, & SM are tough to compare with this early on ... it is definitely better than Gravity
I'd give it a 9.2 / 10.0 (and according to my friends, I'm tough with ratings)

I was planning on buying the dualdisc & then getting a regular as a backup (since I have some extra $ saved up).... my one friend told me that dualdiscs have problems a lot, he bought the Bruce Springsteen Devils & Dust Dual when it came out and ya have to make sure to be really carful with both sides.
seriously though... could somebody please tell me why the limewire leak apparently no longer exists? and if so could somebody please hook me up with some of these songs? at least give me a hint where to find them... I have something on the way to me now but it doesn't seem to be real.
The limewire leak no longer exists because you touch yourself at night. The songs you seek will be available on the album when it is released on the 30 of August.

I'm ordering a dualdisc copy. I will buy the standard disc when they start giving away some kind of bonus ep or some such thing with it, which is inevitable.
